| CAM is the basis of a CNC machine.
It is closely related to machining efficiency
and final product effect. All Artisman cnc routers
are equipped with UCanCAM V8 software. |
1.Cutting
Inclined feeding
When the CNC machines begin to process, there
is an angle formed between the router bit and
material surface. In this way, you can avoid
tool damage and also no scars will be left on
material surface.。
Gradual tool down
In this way, the tool doesn’t get immediately
into the carving depth which is set up before
, on the contrary, the tool reaches some depth
then lifts up , and then repeat this step until
it reaches the preset cutting depth..
Cut-in and Cut-out
This function makes sure there is no tool mark
on the Cut-in and Cut-out place by choosing
the right position for Cut-in and Cut-out. Especially
this can guarantee the cutting quality when
it uses plasma or laser cutting.

2、Image
relief
Image relief machining is to engrave the object
after the image is converted into grayscale
image. The machining is based on brightness
level. It can control the engraving depth and
repeatability, thus giving the final product
smooth and dimensional feeling.

3、 Artistic
transform
Engraving graphs and designs are complex and
in different forms, so it is difficult to satisfy
the needs of customers to use the methods of
exactitude geometry plotting. Artistic transform
can change object shape anomalously, and this
can change the style of traditional beelines
and round arc plotting and improves the flexibility
of art plotting. UCanCAM V8 offers four kinds
of changing styles : clairvoyance , envelope
, push and pull and distortion . |

4、Embossing machining
Embossing machining is mainly used in making
rounded characters or shapes.
There are two types in embossing machining:
intaglio machining and rilievi. The operation
of embossing machining is quite easy, and it
is widely used in such fields as embossment
sign boards, breast cards, furniture, metallic
moulds, printing, etc.

5、 Round carving
processing
Round carving processing takes two dimension
graph as its boundary and through the methods
of defining the section shape to build the three
dimension bending surface processing path to
put up the effect of heaving and concaving ,
it mainly used on the design making about characters
of rounded arc surface and the art configuration
of graphs . There are two process styles of
round carving processing : hidden model machining
(concave effect) and open model process (heaving
effect) . |

6、Prism machining
It can be used to make plastic absorbing light
boxes. Usually it will take 5 hours to make
a 1m X 1m plastic light box, but with this function,
it will only take 30 minutes. |

7、Auto nesting
Several objects with various shapes and sizes
can be put in a selected shape to save material.

8、Tool path simulation
You can preview tool path before actual machining,
to reducing material waste. You can rotate and
room models, in order to observe the machining
process from different angles. It is 3D simulation,
giving you a comprehensive inspection of the
machining process, so as to reduce trial cutting.
